There are lots of ways you can help out and participate. The first thing we would suggest is praying about it. This ministry probably wouldn’t even exist if it weren’t for the fact of prayer. So pray. And listen. God definitely has something to say.

If you would like to help us reach our goal of seeing 5,700 girls in 2010, please look at some of the options below to donate. It costs $32 to reach 1 girl.

Clothing Donations
Recently, we’ve switched over to strictly “new” clothing. If you have new clothes that don’t fit, or that you simply don’t want anymore, we would love to take them off your hands.

Volunteer Opportunities
If you are interested in volunteering as a part of Taylor’s Closet, we would love to set up a time to meet with you and find out your strengths. Each volunteer must go through a one-on-one interviewing process. Please give us a call at 954-531-4584 to set up an appointment to meet with our volunteer coordinator.

“Awaken” mentoring program. If you have expertise in any of these areas, and are interested in being a part of our mentoring program, please give us a call!

We would love your donation of clothes if they are new clothes. Unfortunately, if they are used we won’t be able to use them. This year we switched over to brand new clothing only!
As for the stuffed animals, we very seldom have younger kids come into the store. If you are located near our store, there is a great thrift store beneath us that would love the stuffed animals. I hope this helps. Have a great Christmas!

Hey Taylor’s Closet,
I heard about your project at Mfuge last year, and I am very interested in doing my Senior Project involving Taylor’s Closet in as many ways possible. I have considered doing my own mini Taylor’s Closet and collecting donations to send to your organization. Let me know ANY ideas you may have!

Can people come in to the actual store and volunteer?
Hey Angie,
We do have a group of girls who volunteer in the store. There is an interview process that has to take place first. If you would like, email us with some information on who you are, what you like, your background, etc.
There are also a lot of other volunteer opportunities outside of the store.
