In March, Taylor’s Closet launched Bloom at Home in response to Broward Schools closing during the pandemic. After developing a new way of reaching teenage girls, Bloom at Home has been able to impact 200 girls per week with over 1,000 visits to the website since our launch. Twice a week we send inspirational texts linked with encouraging messages and creative activities pulled from issues of our Blooms Zine. During this time, we feel even more responsibility to encourage, connect, and uplift our girls. They need us now more than ever.

Bloom at Home has become a safe place for girls to feel encouraged and connected during this unprecedented time. Our goal is to reach all 2,000 girls at Fort Lauderdale High School and Piper High School through Bloom at Home. To do this, Taylor’s Closet will distribute ‘Bloom Bags’ to all 2,000 girls who attend both schools in hopes of making them feel special and loved, with the ultimate goal of engaging them to sign up for Bloom at Home where we can uplift them every week.
